For Old Friends Who Stay
You know how they say how long you’ve known a person is unimportant? I think its absolute rubbish.
It is so important. Not in the sense that a person you’ve known in a short while cannot be important to you but in the sense that time and history are such a beautiful feature of great relationships. Time says, we’ve been together for so long, not because it was all rosy but because we cared enough to always work it out. We’re still together because we value each other so much that we continue to agree to disagree and love and let love. History says, every time we moved apart, we came back.
Don’t tell me time together means nothing.
